- Size: 102’ Long, 52’ Wide, 20” High.
- Calories: Nearly 23 million calories total (310 calories per serving).
- Construction: 30,240 half-sheet cakes.
- Weight: 96,000 pounds of cake, 34,000 pounds of frosting, 130,000
pounds total at completion.
- Cake Ingredients: 24,000 pounds of flour, 18,000 pounds (36,000
cups) of sugar, 130,000 eggs (10,833 dozen).
- Frosting Ingredients: 42,000 cups of confectionary sugar, 10,200
cups of shortening, 5,200 cups of butter blend, and 2,635
pounds of corn syrup.
- Cake Making: It took nearly 730 production hours and 20 Sara
Lee Foods employees at the company’s Tarboro, North Carolina
facility to bake the cake and make the frosting for this spectacular
dessert.
- Assembly Time: Takes 14 hours to construct the cake
- Transportation: Cake arrived in seven refrigerated semi-trucks
- Volunteers: Nearly 500 volunteers from the Las Vegas community
worked together in a fun and festive atmosphere to completely
construct and decorate the cake.
