There is the special good-guy Nevada resident rate of $1 per ride. They didn’t really think the thing out well, and are only selling these as 20-ride passes, available at the Downtown Transportation Center, Regional Transportation Commission offices (on Grand Central Parkway) and South Strip Transfer terminal. So a tip for visitors who plan on using the monorail and know a local is...have a Nevada resident buy them a 20 ride pass. The visitor fare is $5 for one way or $9 for round trip so, if you plan on taking more than 4 monorail rides during your stay, it is a money saver even if you don’t use all 20 rides.
