"Feeling Mooned"

We went to Moon on a Sunday night so our assessment may be foggy. The place was semi-packed and up until the guest DJ started people were dancing. So we meandered down to the Playboy club where the DJ was spinning much better and hung out. Moon is probably better on the weekend but for the most part we thought it was heavy on the sausage. We absolutely deplore clubs that crowd the dance floor with VIP seating much like LAX at Luxor. We will give Moon another chance maybe on the weekend next time. Here is a tip if you are staying at the Palms you can show your room key and gain access of course after you pay the $20 cover (each). Oh the view from Moon's balcony was very nice and it also gives you a break from the fog machine on the inside while still enjoying the tunes.

"Sucked with a capital S"

We walked into the club and were impressed with the club layout, until we realized that almost every seat is reserved for someone. We only went for the cabaret portion of this club and did not stay for the after hours party. We waited in one chair for at least 30 minutes for a cocktail or a lap dance and never got one offer. Then the one seat we were sitting in was apparently reserved as well(?). The bouncer asked us to move and at that point we decided to blow that popsicle stand. On a positive note Frosty the cab guy was ultra-cool and comped us a ride to another place. Simply our opinion.
