We had an AWESOME time at the Venetian!! The valet service was poor and the check-in was not the best (we ended up self-parking and carrying our own bags (which worked out great actually)), but after that everything else was top notch!!! We hardly left the premises, there was so much to do and many great places to eat. The spa/gym was a great place to work out and if you are serious about working out or using the spa they have a resort package when you make your reservations that I would recommend getting (saves you some $$).
We saw the Blueman show which plays right in the hotel and was a great time. However, Tao Beach was the highlight!! It was such a great place to hang out and watch sexy people, we spent every day at Tao Beach sitting by the pool!! Tao restaurant was also awesome! We have never seen so many skirts and heels in one place...it seems the ladies out numbered the men by a land slide....lots of bachelorette parties 
We would recommend getting a view suite that over looks the pools so you can keep on top of the scene. We at at the Taqueria Canonita that over looked the canal and they had great food. We also eat at Postrio in the square and had an excellent lunch, you have to try the chicken salad sandwich, it is to die for!! Overall we cannot wait to get back to the Venetian...service was great and if we are not in our beautiful suite having fun you will find us at Tao Beach.
