"Best Club for us in Vegas!"

We attended the PurrfectLV party at the Cathouse recently, and AGAIN found the venue to be comfortable, small (which made it easy to mingle), and uniquely convenient to go dance when we want to.

Since its in the Luxor, you can park in the hotel parking and its a short walk to the Club. We had been eating at the Mandalay Bay (Rum Jungle) and took the tram over.

The bar & meeting area is smallish, and therefore it makes it very very easy to "bump into" other couples and cool people. The CLub is actually split into rooms with the dance area joining the bar area via a short hallway... this makes it incredibly easy to go to the dance area and get down when a cool set of tunes comes up. We tipped the DJ to play our set of music and he was not expensive and got on it right away, too.

The bartenders were fast.... the Philipino bartender was all over it, and was super fast.

CRUE FEST at the Mandalay Bay Events Center was hot. We got tickets next to the stage from StubHub on Ebay. It was in Section 121 Row A and we were literally 8 feet from the Stage and the band was performing in our faces. The eight feet between us and the stage was the backstage entrance from the floor so we were within touching range of Tommy Lee while he and his friends watched Buckcherry perform. The ushers were great about keeping other people out of OUR seats, too, while we ran for drinks and restroom breaks. Vince Neal was singing in our faces during the Motley Crue performance. What was really cool was that the pyrotechnics during the Motley Crue performance was up close and personal and BLASTED us.

"AWESOME DINING EXPERIENCE"

We went to Treasures this week to celebrate the birthday of the male half of a great couple we know. We had heard that the place was good.

It was AWESOME.

We obviously went there because it is a guy thing to go a titty bar on his birthday, but we thought it was too much to ask for to have an upscale dining experience as well. We were pleasantly surprised. The steaks were big and tasty. The service was personal. Theprice was the same as Flemings, but a bit less than Smith & Wollensky. The meal quality was comparable if not better.

The ambiance is like being in the living room of a big home with overstuffed chairs and chandeliers, and even gold plated plumbing in the men's bathroom.

"Playboy Comedy Club at the Palms is fun"

We generally believe that Comedians are really really depressed people that can entertain us and make us laugh because we can feel better than they do. They describe their crappy situations, racial biases, and fucked up romantic entanglements AND we can feel happy that this shit is NOT happening to us.

So Palms has a regular event in their lounge about twice a month called the Playboy Comedy Club. They bring in at least 2 comedians from outside the city with some pretty good qualifications. HBO has even filmed a few of the events. Occasionally a recent Playmate of the month is there for us to ogle, too. And its pretty cheap at $40 a ticket, and easy to buy on Ticketmaster.

A local comedic success story named Paul Hughes (who is one of Savanna's Myspace friends) is usually the first comedian. His routine is always the same, but he is still kind of funny because he, too, has a totally depressing life with a recent break-up with his gf, family members that are totally disfunctional, and a seriously lacking sex life full of internet porn and masturbation. We love laughing at him.

If you email Paul, he will put you on the VIP list, and then you can sit in the second row at the lounge...note that sitting in the first row will subject you to comments about your May-December marraige, Savanna's huge tits, and Biff's penis implant.... go for the 2nd row.

The Palms itself is really very ostentatious. Although Moon is totally cool, and the Playboy casino in the Fantasy Tower is pretty kewl, too; the rest of the Casino is just blah. Its a younger crowd with no money, and generally no class either.

Why do WE go there? The Comedy Club.....

"Awesome energy & beautiful people"

In a stunning atmosphere of beautiful modern architecture in the middle of the Planet Hollywood Hotel/Casino is Prive. Its another South Beach creation from Florida, and WOW is it HOT.

We met our most excellent friends, a well known attractive sexy couple on this site with their single female companion, for a night of fun, drinking, dancing, and people watching at the new upscale Club.

It helps to know somebody, and thanks to our friends, we were greeting quickly by a friendly, informative professional employee who whisked us through the VIP line and took us directly to our table upstairs. On the way, he gave us a tour of the place, and told us about the fancy chandelier, and South Beach roots of the Club.

Whatever... it seems they only let in beautiful people. There were good looking 20 and 30 something women customers dancing on the various platforms. We met some famous Skateboarder professional dude, some guy in a punk rock band, and a bunch of hot guys and women. You can see girls kissing on girls, sexy lap dancing, and all kinds of sexy behavior. The music was pounding, loud, and more techno dance music like the stuff you hear on satellite radio on the BPM station (we think its Channel 82).

The waitresses were very very friendly and were dancing with the customers, and on platforms and literally kissing the customers.

There were not a lot of older men in the place, and Biff was clearly the oldest male in there (but had the best looking date.... Savanna). Neither were there a lot of the gansta or middle eastern type guys that populate Studio 54. We think the male to female ratio was just about right.

Regardless of the excellent VIP treatment that we recieved, the lines to get in were not long because the guys at the entrance were only weeding out the people that were either dressed inappropriately or just did not belong in the Club. We were told that the Club can easily handle 1000 revelers.

Was it expensive? Bottle service with a table was north of $300. Was it fun? Oh ya... was it worth it? Definetly!

Since we have had crappy experiences at Jet, Studio 54, and Body English, we found Prive to be an excellent choice for an evening of hard partying and dancing with sexy friends.

"Ya its a kewl hangout, but the FOOD IS AWESOME, too!"

The review that precedes this one is right on the mark, but it doesn't tell the whole story. There are indeed a thousand stories in the NAKED CITY and this is another one.

The avocado egg rolls are unbelievably tasty. The Seared Ahi Salad is as tasty a tuna we have ever had in our mouth short of some sexual encounters. The Meat Loaf must have some kinda Hawaiian dirt in it cause you would swear you are eating meat loaf in Hilo.

Its dark in there, just dark enough that you can see the food, but folks can't really see you feeling up your date in the booth. And yes, Biff feels up Savanna there on a regular basis because every visit with Savanna to the Kona Grill is a HOT DATE.

The eye candy is out in front where the patio is cooled by fans and misters, and the bar is open to the street. Savanna said its the only place where she really notices guys staring at her.... (they are probably thinking: "What the hell does that tall guy got to be able to be married to her? Either a big weenie or rich or both...") Duh

It has Valet parking. For $25 they will park your C6 in the front row next to the red Lambo or Ferrari. Ya, its like the valet parking at the Palms....cool cars in the front row!

We have never had a problem getting in. Never had to wait. Never had a bad dining experience. Food is always awesome, and the wait staff are all M&M's roadies.

We almost live at this place when we are in town.

"Playboy Club & Moon was a blast!"

There are a million stories in the Naked City, and this is one of them....Its just another hot Saturday in the Sin City, and we decided we needed to go to the Playboy Comedy Club at the Palms. We did and it was great. By far its the best Comedy event in town. Afterwards, Savanna says we gotta go to the Playboy Club...OK, so its now about 10 PM and we get in the line.

A guy in a suit comes down the line inspecting everyone, and walks up to Savanna and asks who she is with. She points at Mr Biff, and he says come with me. We go to the VIP line.

In the VIP line a guy asks to see Savanna's ID and says "You get in Free" and stamps her wrist with some wierd demonic symbol, but ol' Biff has to pay $60. No prob. He says come with me....now we are at the cashier where the Biff'ster pays his $60 and we both get these little cards that say "ALL ACCESS"....whatever the hell that is. We never had to show the cards to anyone after that.

We are shown to the elevator and we go up 51 floors to the Casino.

The Casino is totaly kewl. Its the fanciest damn place to lose your money that we ever saw. All the dealers are blondes with there boobs exposed in those little Playboy Bunny outfits. (Savanna's were bigger...)

We are bored with the view so we take an escalator up to the giant disco upstairs called Moon.

Moon was AWESOME. Beautiful 20 and 30 something people everywhere. The girls outnumbered the boys. Everyone was friendly as hell. No prob in getting a $5 bottle of beer. Dance floor was packed, but you could get around.

We stayed for two hours until we finally couldn't hear each other anymore from the ringing in our ears, and Biff couldn't dance anymore....although Savanna was still going like the Energizer Bunny in the elevator all the way down to the Casino floor.

Would we go back again? HELL YA. Was it worth the wait and the money? What wait? and Savanna didn't pay anything.... maybe they recognized her from an old magazine!

"Its the BEST Steakhouse in Las Vegas"

We have eaten here several times with friends. The waiters all act like they just stepped out of a movie...some are comedians, some dramatic actors, and some are detectives. They give you good advice on which steak to buy, but the bottom line is ALL the steaks here are great. There are two bars, one on the strip entrance and one on the side entrance from the parking lot. All the beautiful people meet their friends at the bar on the parking lot side. Downstairs is the better dining venue, but there aren't a lot of tables downstairs...upstairs is really really noisy as it is a big giant dining room with high ceilings. Carrying a conversation across the table upstairs is kinda like yelling at your partner at a football game. The wine list is extensive and expensive. The mixed drinks are all doubles. Its a fun place to eat with major atmosphere. You need to give yourself an extra half an hour to get there because its located on the strip down from the MGM and next to the theaters. Its actually better to park at the MGM and walk down the street to the restaurant....trust us on this one. A typical bill with drinks and steaks (no wine) for four: $350 which includes the tip. When you are stuck in the jungle eating snakes (sorry SnakeBabe) and WaterBuffalo, this place is just HEAVEN.
