"The Fitz !"

Fitzgeralds has a small cozy atmosphere. All the employees we encountered were great! Reality, the place has been around for a while, the rooms are showing a little wear, but are nice. If thet put cots on the Duece, you'd only need a room for a good swinging encounter! Our bed was very comfortable, and that's about the most important thing when in Vegas! You need a good bed for your 4 hours (I'm old) of sleep a night! The hot water in the shower needs a little boost, it was good 4 out of 5 days, which aren't bad odds! Our only slightly negative take is the elevators. With only 4, getting up or down at certain times was a little tough. We'd say at the most the wait was 10 minutes. But, it saved our pockets and our livers a little. damage. Two minutes or less and you are out of the casino and on Fremont street. There are plenty of slot machines. Space for table games (poker, blackjack) was tight once or twice but, not enough of a problem that the folks who should be using the 800 number would start DT's right there! As far as guests there is a good age mix, going from the 20's to the 80's. The restaurants were pretty uncrowded and the selection and quality of food was very good. An excellent value overall !
