"So-so at best.."
We chose the Flamingo for two reasons, the advertised European Style GO Pool and proximity to the strip. The price was about the same, even a little more as other venues but the pool was the take away. We did stay in one of the remodeled GO rooms, not bad, not the best. The adult atmosphere at the pool was non existant. (See Pool Review). The casino and clubs were fine, no issues there..then came the maid service.. They were actually pretty prompt, but left the melted water in the ice bucket as well as dirty glasses in the room. We were told by the in charge supervisor on the floor they "cannot take the dirty glasses" as they were from the casino bar.. Guess they still must be in the room!! They no clean room glasses in the room and simply said they did not have any more on the cart.. The supervisor did come back in an hour, woke us up and gave us two glasses, not 4 just two... The ice bucket was full of melted water and she said they are not allowed to dump that either... WTF!! This is a case of one person on one floor making that ever important first impression, for us not a good one. Given the inaccurate portrayl of the GO pool and the service we recieved and the price, we would not recommend the Flamingo as a destination..

"Not as advertised"
We made our final decision to stay at the Flamingo based on a couple reviews and the as advertised GO Pool. So the 21 and over European Style.... was completely inaccurate, starting with the 17 old life guard and his 15 year old friend hanging out text messaging and chasing each other around the end of the pool or was it dad taking his 10 year old daughter for a swim or maybe the two 5 year olds enjoying a day at the adult pool.. The "excellent service" was not existant.. We were served one time over a course of 3 1/2 hours.... A number of management types came by, one a very young girl actually participated with the young lifeguard in playing phone text and chase.. another guy in a tie stopped right next to the 2 little ones and dad and did not address it....Do not plan on much in the way of adult time at the GO Pool..
