"Marketing Hype"

This show is a triumph of marketing, proving you can get people to go to anything with the right marketing. The show itself is vapid, loud and stupid. I can't believe how much money I spent on tickets.
Of course, kids will love it but most adults will find it extremely one dimensional. And yes, I did get the point but there isn't much of a point to get.

"Great Stay at the Venetian"

My husband & I spent four nights at the Venetian recently while I attended a convention at the adjoining Sands convention center. This was probably my 10th trip to Vegas & my husband's first. I was concerned that he would not enjoy himself, but he actually said he would come back, and this was due largely to the hotel. Though large, this hotel is easy to navigate and requires a lot less walking to get from place to place than my last stay at Cesar's. The staff was also friendly and more attentive with the exception of the young lady at check-in. She seemed friendly enough, but when we asked her to speak up over the hum of the crowd and music system, she refused saying that she had to save her voice for the rest of the day!

Our room was large, beautiful and very clean. Housekeeping was very efficient, hardworking and pleasant. We loved the suite concept and found the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and even had a little vanity equipped with makeup mirror.

Really there was not much reason to leave the hotel! We enjoyed most of our meals at the hotel & really enjoyed Valentinos, Aquanox, Zefferinos, La Canonita, and the Lux Grill. Shopping was fun at the Canal shops. Such a pretty setting! We also enjoyed the Blue Man Group which is showing at the Venetian. My husband spent a couple of afternoons enjoying the sunshine at the pool. It is nice that you don't have to walk the whole way through the hotel to access the pool. It's just off the elevators from the rooms and is on the roof of the 4th floor.

I would definely stay here again. My husband can be a tough customer and the fact that he enjoyed himself says volumes.
