"Nice multilevel place; Sound system tinny and too loud"

This is a fine place in many ways, the multilevel layout worked extremely well. I give a thumbs-down in general to the "buy a bottle" table scheme (I know this is not unique to Asia), the tables went unused while we stood. I almost lost my voice trying to be heard above the sound system, which is too bad because the people we were with at the purrfectlv party were really nice interesting folks and I had a hard time hearing them while conversing and trying to be an interesting gentleman. It is a fine dance floor, and the fellow dancers were polite. The bar is nice and the bartenders were extremely efficient, so that boosts my rating.

We dined at the Cathouse and had a great experience there, good food, beautiful waitresses, and a stylish atmosphere with a good, classy crowd, everyone seemingly checking out one another. There was quite a bit of construction and it seemed major areas were closed down or walled off, which of course detracted a bit. However the main casino area seemed rather frumpy and dark, probably to be updated. The darkness however was a good factor for the cool bar areas within the casino. The second floor was almost nothing but an entrance to the imax theaters. Very few kids.
