"Imperial Palace"

It sort of depends if you are looking for an impressive spot to stay or someplace to call a base. The rooms are on the small side, but clean. Old clean. If you gamble there, it feels like the comps are pretty slow. The dealers are friendly, as are the drink girls. After a couple of days, the pit bosses will remember your name and are friendly too. Bear in mind, it's a small house that still feels like old Vegas, so if you are looking for flash and glitter, this isn't it. On the down side, avoid the buffet. Go next door to Harrah's, or even better yet, anyplace across the street is great.
