"My Stay at Encore"

First, I would like to begin by stating, I got this room at an affordable rate through hotels.com. Conversely, the prices listed on their web-site were substantially higher. The room was stunning and a 75-dollar resort credit was included, which came in handy, given they charge common items I wrongly assumed were complimentary, such as internet and gym usage. Furthermore, they charge their guest for club entrance (single females included) and you have to stand in the same line as non-guest. This is an annoyance, which implies indifference to me. Overall, the hotel is beautiful. Conversely, I disliked most of their staff; many of which imparted an over-pretentious and impersonal attitude by wearing placid smiles and speaking to me as if they were being forced read a legal dictionary aloud.
Will not return.

"encore is a nice upscale hotel"

encore is a nice upscale hotel we spent time between encore and wynn
both hotels are nice the room is very nice, we spent more time ay wynn pool but not too many topless girls to join the wife bathing , maybe it was the time of the year. the only thing we didnt like was the clubs were all younger kids we wanted to find a more age friendly club. and the food is pricey

"Encore over Labor Day Weekend"

We have a very good stay at Encore over the labor day weekend, the rooms are very nice. I would suggest a room in the Tower Suites if possible. Private entrance which means quicker , less crowded check in and taxi pick up.
A few minor complaints.. the TV in the bathroom did not work and even though several attemps were made to fix it.. it did not happen. When the maid cleaned the room she did not give us more soaps and shampoos. I am sure if we called housekeeping and asked we would have gotten them delivered on a silver tray.
The casino was smaller but nice and a kinda short walk to the wynns larger one.
Food was great. We had the wynn buffet one night, at $0 each it was a little pricey, but OMG was it good. Great quality and selection. Red 8 for asian was very good also.
All in all I would go back to either the Wynn or Encore

"Encore.....Try it - you'll like it"

Encore is incredible - well worth the money! Everything is first class from the amenities to the service. Only had one problem and they made it right.

"Encore Very Nice!"

The strongest feature of the property are the employees! Everyone from the maids to the pit bosses were very nice and helpful! The Encore has increased the high tech experience even beyond the level that the Wynn created. We had a standard room, which is a suite. Plenty of room to entertain another couple or two? Swiveling plasma tv, ipod doc and plasma in the bathroom all standard. mechanical blinds and shades ( just like the Wynn) you can even put out your electric do not disturb sign from your awesome bed. Nice furniture that you can get creative with! Lots of fun, very relaxing....definately will be back.

"Encore: A Tactile Experience"

A Look at Encore by R-J columnist Jane Ann Morrison:

"...
Even without seeing the rooms, our afternoon at the Encore, where the color scheme is red, red and more red, marked by an abundance of butterflies, was a tactile experience. My friend and I wanted to touch nearly everything -- wall coverings, mosaics, flooring, chandeliers and the art. Discretion prevailed and we refrained, but I even wanted to feel the red chandeliers in the casino. I guess true luxury drives you to want to touch something to see whether it feels as rich as is looks.

But what I liked the most wasn't something I could touch or eat.

It was the natural light.

Wonder of wonders, even the casino had natural light, both from above and from the side facing the pool.

Dark and dank have been banned from Encore. Let there be light was the order of the day, in total contradiction to the history of Las Vegas gambling halls, where the idea is to encourage forgetting about time entirely by eliminating all natural light from the casino.

And that's what makes Encore more than just a newer, more intimate version of Wynn Las Vegas."
