Fun Hog Ranch (also known as the "Pig Farm") is a relatively new gay bar in town. "It favors the man's-man over the twinky Abercrombie jock, much like the Buffalo in the "Fruit Loop" further down Paradise Road, but with less of the bear-culture emphasis."
"Not for nothing [Fun Hog] has quickly become the favorite queer watering hole of some locals -- including this one -- while impressing some non-queers, too. Credit its goodtime vibe, welcoming staff, friendly and down-to-earth patrons of all ages and creeds, ridiculously cheap drink prices and, perhaps most of all, its consistently liberal pour."
"A well drink will only set you back $3 -- and that's for a tall glass. Trying to ward off a hangover? A Ketel One cocktail is only $6, almost half of what you'd pay at a megaclub but with twice as much booze. Or how about an $8 Crown and Coke? (Domestic tallboys are usually $3; well/drafts/domestics are $1.50 during happy hour, 4 p.m.-7 p.m., 2 a.m.-5 a.m. and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Mon.-Fri.; and different drink specials and/or liquor/beer busts occur each day.)"
