Inside Planet Hollywood

Fresh off it's successful opening in NYC, Hawaiian Tropic has brought a branch of the bar/restaurant to Las Vegas.

Open daily from 11 :30 a.m. - 4 a.m.

Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Dinner: 5 p.m. – 12 a.m.

Olympic style flame torches wrap the entire facade of the building inviting guests to experience an exotic journey separating them from the concrete jungle. Sexy modern decor awaits as you enter the cavernous space, featuring a two-story waterfall followed by a three tier dining room focusing on a larger than life video wall behind the happening bar, that features a cat-walk stage for nightly entertainment. This experience can only be enhanced by the friendly exotic Hawaiian Tropic models sporting exclusive Nicole Miller-designed fucshia bikinis and floral sarongs who will serve as "Table Concierges" to attend to patrons' every dining need and star in a nightly beauty pageant to engage the guests.

The creative menu includes mouth-watering dishes from world renowned chef David Burke, including Swordfish Benedict, his signature Cheesecake Lollipops and re-energizing the beloved Pupu Platter. Unlike any other restaurant, sharing of entrees is encouraged.

Quench your thirst with a selection of 40 fine wines by the glass and signature cocktails including the "Lava Margarita" and the "White Beach Bellini". The wine list is extensive yet familiar and also including a "Reserved" selection.

A couple of disclaimers:
First, when dining at Hawaiian Tropic Zone, be prepared to see a lot of skin and a lot of tattoos. Bummer, eh?

Second, the saying “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” may not apply at Hawaiian Tropic Zone. Several web cams are placed throughout the dining areas and bar, beaming images from the restaurant onto the internet for anyone to see.

Enjoy your favorite cocktail outdoors on the 2,000 sq. ft. heated patio w/ spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip.

"Delicious, Original and a Lot of Fun"

-- Review by Aleza Freeman of Vegas.com

"Two words: cheesecake lollipops.

Delicious, original and a lot of fun, they embody all the qualities of Hawaiian Tropic Zone at Planet Hollywood.

From its creative menu to its innovative design, this New York import provides a tasty and enjoyable venue for lunch or dinner … or even just dessert.

At the entrance, a waterfall feature greets guests, while Olympic style flame torches dot the patio. Bamboo, a wine wall and lighting features designed to look like burning flames decorate the dining area. The bar is flanked by a video wall and offers 40 fine wines by the glass and several signature cocktails such as Espresso Martini, Grapefruit Fizz and Bikini Punch.

Though classier than a day at the beach, patrons at Hawaiian Tropic Zone may feel like catching a wave as spunky waitresses, or “table concierges,” dressed in bikinis and floral sarongs designed by Nicole Miller, attend to their every dining need. They also participate in nightly beauty pageants.

The menu features creative dishes, some familiar and some more exotic, from world-renowned chef David Burke. The presentation of each dish is impeccable. Even the onion ring appetizer looks almost too good to eat. Almost.

A visit to Hawaiian Tropic Zone wouldn’t be complete without dessert. The aforementioned cheesecake lollipops are truly a site to behold, served in a metal holder that resembles a tree. Each pop, including strawberry, chocolate/vanilla and double chocolate is garnished with a mint leaf. The dish is served with a side of bubble gum whip cream dip.

The dining experience at Hawaiian Tropic Zone is as enjoyable as it is mouth-watering. There are, however, a couple disclaimers:

First, when dining at Hawaiian Tropic Zone, be prepared to see a lot of skin and a lot of tattoos. Second, the saying “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” may not apply at Hawaiian Tropic Zone. Several web cams are placed throughout the dining areas and bar, beaming images from the restaurant onto the internet for anyone to see.

So when you break your diet to bite into those yummy cheesecake lollipops, don’t expect it to go unnoticed!"

"Hot ladies all around!"

Went to HTZ to have dinner and drinks with a business client. We were surrounded by beautiful women with very friendly and great attitudes. Atmosphere is very hip, music is great as are the dancers who do a little dance show every hour or so on a platform stage, just above the bar area. Food was pretty tasty too. I will definately go back! Good place to go to see beautiful women while sipping a cocktail or having a bite to eat.

I will definately be going back soon!

"WOW. Lots of skin..and that cant be the bill.."

Very tentative service. Love love loved the waitresses, all dressed in just swimsuits, skin overflowing, simply beautiful..They also had super sexy dancers, dancing to great music. Now the food. The food was awesome, first course was a salad, oh so good. Main courses, we had the salmon and the chicken breast both excellent, then a dessert of flowerless chocolate cake and pistachio ice cream.. What was very remarkable was to look at this place we thought, that the food was going to be like Applebees or TGI Fridays, but it was anything but, they have great four star food, with beautiful plating and proper portions... Now on the downside Two salads, Two main courses, two desserts with two cokes all for low low price of $94.00...Ouch...Don't ever pick up the tab for a large table..lol... Overall enjoyed the place.
