"Small, Out-of-the-Way Italian Restaurant"
We've been going to the Pasta Shop for years but hadn't gone back for quite awhile, simply because there are so many new places to try in town.
However, some out-of-town friends of ours wanted to try someplace intimate and off the Strip so we headed to the Pasta Shop.
It's a very small restaurant (10 tables?) hidden in a strip mall but the cuisine is excellent. One of the brothers usually prepares the food and the other brother generally serves it so it's quite a family affair. One of their signature dishes is the Tiger Shrimp and you can fill up on their cheesy bread strips so watch yourself with those.
If you are looking for something that might fit better in, say, San Francisco, check out the Pasta Shop. Even though we hadn't been back for awhile, one thing is unchanged: the food is worth the trip.
