"Solidly Good"
From Frommers:
"Yes, that Dan Marino. No, he's not cooking. But it just figures, doesn't it, that a hotel called Hooters would have a steakhouse owned by a former quarterback? Doesn't get much more manly than that. Anyway, if you can get past the testosterone, what you will be rewarded with is a solidly good, more affordably priced establishment than comparable spots in higher-profile Strip hotels. Lots of finger food, lots of meat, lots of fat, lots of calories, but we mean that in the good way; starters like a three-cheese spinach dip (topped with sour cream, onions, and bacon) indicate that much of the menu is more or less high-falutin' versions of Sunday-afternoon-sports TV-watching munchies. Prime rib has an unexpectedly smoky flavor and Lawry's seasonings, while juicy filet tips are served with garlic mashed potatoes and crispy onions. Dessert is more Guy Food, like a large, pie-cut chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream and sauces."

"A different style of fine dining experience"
We went on a Saturday night with original reservations for 9:30, however, we needed to push the reservation time back to 10 pm. This was done with no problems. When we arrived at the restaurant we understood why there was no problem, there were only 3 other tables with diners. Maybe they get an early crowd at Marinos.
The restaurant is very pleasing to the eye with a great mural of Dan Marino as soon as you walk in. An aspect that I liked is that it has both tables and booths. The wine list was fairly extensive with the bottles being relatively inexpensive compared to other hotel's high-end restaurants. I have to let you know the list included (as a joke) a bottle of Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill. Most everyone's cherry popper into wine. Of course we had to have a bottle after dinner for old times sake. It came with 4 Dixie cups!
The menu sported a decently wide selection of options although I believe that it's the first time I've been in a fine dining restaurant which listed buffalo wings as an appetizer. However, since it is a Hooters legacy we understood. We opted not for the wings but did have the four cheese dip which was quite tasty. Everyone (four of us total) ordered a different entree and were all very pleased.
Overall it was a different experience but a enjoyable one as the food was delicious and the servers were very friendly and even played along with our rowdy group.
