Newly remodeled, Imperial Palace is still a long-time favorite. The hotel features one of the largest sports books and a classic car show.

Harrah's keeps debating on whether to tear this casino down. It's not the best place on the Strip by any means but the location is good and the price is right.

They also have a twice-weekly Polynesian feast around the rooftop pool featuring dances of Pacific Island nations. An article about the luau

"Imperial Palace"

It sort of depends if you are looking for an impressive spot to stay or someplace to call a base. The rooms are on the small side, but clean. Old clean. If you gamble there, it feels like the comps are pretty slow. The dealers are friendly, as are the drink girls. After a couple of days, the pit bosses will remember your name and are friendly too. Bear in mind, it's a small house that still feels like old Vegas, so if you are looking for flash and glitter, this isn't it. On the down side, avoid the buffet. Go next door to Harrah's, or even better yet, anyplace across the street is great.

"Second time at IP"

Not the nicest of hotels to stay at on the strip but the price makes it a great deal. Hallways have an odd smell to them but our room was fine. Balcony is a great place to show off and have sex in front of other hotels guest. Another reason we stayed here was because of its great location, next to carnival court and across from Caesars Palace .
