"Best Strip Hotel"

Voted "Best Strip Hotel" in Las Vegas Review-Journal's "Best of Las Vegas" Reader's Poll '07 (Reader's Pick)

"The Bellagio represents everything that is classic in Vegas. From the Fountains of Bellagio that marries dancing fountains, lights, fog and music into a beautiful show to the ever-changing Bellagio Conservatory& Botanical Gardens that continues to wow spectators every season, visitors are able to experience a lot for free. For those who want more, the Bellagio offers a high-class, relaxing and luxurious environment with spas and pools, an art gallery that has exhibited a number of favorites including Picasso and Monet, great food (at a high-class price) and the Cirque du Soleil production "O". Even with new hotels being built on the Strip, the Bellagio remains a must-see for visitors.

This is the ninth win for Bellagio in this category. The Italian-themed resort smacks down another, The Venetian, this year's distant second pick, and Wynn Las Vegas, which seems unable to upstage casino developer Steve Wynn's previous achievement in the minds of loyal readers."

Voted "Best Poker Room" in Las Vegas Review-Journal's Best of Las Vegas Reader's Poll '07 (Reader's Pick)

"We all feel like we've sat right at the table beside Jim Hanna, even though it's just our armchair while we're glued to the World Poker Tour on the Travel Channel. Still, you walk through Bellagio and stop and say, "Yep. That's it, all right.""

Voted "Best Buffet" (#1) in AOL's City Guide Best of City '07

"There were probably a few gasps among the first Bellagio Buffet customers when they were told that dinner would run more than $30 per person. Isn't the buffet supposed to be the low-priced casino dining alternative? It takes guts to open a serve-yourself outlet where the tab more than doubles what other resorts charge, but it's a testament to the quality of the food and the opulence of the surroundings at Bellagio that patrons still line up for the privilege of carrying their own plate.

Most of the items offered in the serving lines, particularly at dinner, are not generally found on a buffet. Guests choose from such highfalutin options as leg of lamb, venison, Kobe beef, duck breast, steamed clams, Mako shark, salmon sashimi and apple-smoked sturgeon. Appetizer, salad and side order items are equally enticing, from woodland mushrooms and haricots verts to winter citrus compote. There's also a make-your-own pasta bar. Almost no one saves room for dessert, but one look at the creamy confections and you may be tempted to force yourself. The Tuscan-style decor is predictably upscale, and having two separate serving lines for smoking and non-smoking patrons was an excellent idea. But this is still the adults-oriented Bellagio, so bear in mind that no one under 18 is admitted unless they are guests at the hotel."
