"Best Late Night Dining"
Voted "Best Late Night Dining" in AOL CityGuide's City'sBest '07 (voted #2)
"On a street where bigger means better, and anything built before 1990 is a candidate for implosion, it's amazing to find a quiet, intimate and unpretentious cocktail lounge where nothing has changed since 1974. The Peppermill's centerpiece is a giant circular fireplace with brass accents, set inside a bubbling pool of water that looks like it was part of the set on 'The Dean Martin Show.' The menu hasn't changed much either; most customers opt for classic lounge libations like Mai Tais and Zombies to wash down the salted almonds on every table. The plush booths in dark corners have hidden their share of illicit romances over the years, but don't expect to meet that special someone here; at the Peppermill, cuddling couples vastly outnumber prowling singles."

Voted "Best Tropical Drinks" in Review-Journal's "Best of Las Vegas 2007" -- Reader's Pick
"The Peppermill Inn lounge is known not only for its over-the-top decor but also for its careful attention to detail, which clearly brings to readers' minds the lounge's umbrella drinks, served up flamboyantly in decorative glassware -- some of them even with umbrellas, we swear. And imbibing by the Peppermill's fire-and-water pond just adds to the far-away-from-here illusion."

Voted "Best Bar for Romance"
in Review Journal's "Best of Las Vegas" -- Reader's Pick
"When it comes to romance, readers are all hot and bothered by the Fireside Lounge at the Peppermill. Once again, the swanky nightspot is chosen as the best place in town to play kissy-face with that special someone. Featured in films such as "Casino" and "Showgirls," the Fireside boasts an old Vegas vibe complete with a crackling fireplace and mirrored ceiling. Hey, even Steve Urkel could get lucky at this place."
