Michelle Nunes, a cocktail server and blackjack dealer at the new Las Vegas Hooters Casino won the Miss Hooters International 2006 contest, beating out 120 other Hooters girls. Ms. Nunes won $50,000 plus a promotional contract.

Since it opened this past December, South Coast Casino has under-performed financially and under-whelmed excitement-wise. Now it'll be sold to the guy who started the whole Coast Casinos name: Micheal Gaughan, who is getting back into hands-on management.
