The end of yet another era of old time Las Vegas...

Hard Rock Memorbilia Goes With the Hotel

  June 20, 2006

With the sale of the Hard Rock Hotel to NY-based Morgans Hotel Group, what becomes of all the rock memorbilia? Looks like Morgans wants to maintain the continuity of the HR (yea!) and will grab the stuff. At least most of it. Not sure about the plaster cast of Jimi Hendrix's penis, though.
And did the HR alter one of Kurt Cobain's guitars? A bit of controversy...

  June 8, 2006

Perhaps the space is jinxed, but not even the Vivid porn stars could keep Vivid night club at the Venetian open. There have been at least three different clubs in that location and the Venetian says there won't be any more. No word on what the space will be used for.
