Former heavyweight boxing champion--and Las Vegas resident--Mike Tyson has a lot of ties to Sin City including all those memorable boxing matches (ear biting, etc.), his house in Henderson and getting married to his latest wife last year at the La Bella Wedding Chapel in the Las Vegas Hilton.

But he also used to party it up in town and the combination of Tyson's addictive personality and Vegas being built to enable that sort of personality made for a lifestyle that was sure to come crashing down eventually.

Sports Illustrated is running their annual "Where Are They Now?" issue (on newstands now) and one of the has-beens they interviewed was Tyson. We haven't read the hard copy yet but there's an excerpt of it online and we've grabbed an excerpt of the excerpt to show LowLife's that they can go so much lower if only they put their heart and soul--and nostrils--into it and quit messing around with frivolous things like jobs, family and sleep.

Sports Illustrated: How about in Las Vegas? What would your typical day in Vegas be like?

Tyson: This is how the day would start: I would go to a club, at say, 2 o'clock [a.m.]. Hang out there for what, two hours, and then I'd go to the after-hours [clubs], that start at 6 o'clock [a.m.]. So I'd stay there from 6 in the morning to 7:30 at night. I'd be sitting down and drinking and doing cocaine, talking to girls ... doing anything. Everything. Then I make it home and I'm tripping out at home. I'm calling people, I'm tired, but I've got people coming in and we're making plans to go out a few hours later. We're getting high, staying up, [doing] cocaine. Somebody would be calling me: "Come hang out with me." So we would go out and get high, till 11 o'clock [p.m.] or something, then go somewhere, to a bar or somewhere. We might go to a club, then get high all day long.

You think you like to party now? Man, compared to the champ you are in the featherweight division. You gots ta step up your game, dude!

And trust me, Vegas is ready for you as our town's real marketing slogan oughta be "There's More Where That Came From"...

If you are into hip hop the way LowLife's Mr. Admin is into that particular dance style (who can forget this classic photo of Mr. Admin with his group of dancers, Too Low Crew) then you don't even need to be told how wonderful Las Vegas is right now.

For the few of you who aren't hard core b-boys & girls you may have noticed an influx of visitors looking like they just might be part of the hip hop culture. It's not your imagination as there is not one but two hip hop championships going on (or soon to be going on) in town. The first one we mentioned earlier is called the World Hip Hop Championship and that is currently taking place at Red Rock and the Orleans (and even has some local representation).

But one hip hop championship is never enough for people like us so we're down on our knees kissing the dance floor (which, in our case, is the ALL back parking lot which we converted into something that looks straight out of the movie "Stomp The Yard" (or was it "Step Up"?) complete with a rain machine so we can drench all those b-girls which makes 'em looks so sexy as they break and pop on the asphalt (see pic below of three LowLife marketing department execs dancing during lunch) and thanking the gods of street dancing.

Just as one world championship has been decided it'll be time for another as the Ultimate B-Boy Championships take place next week at the MGM arena.

Mr. Admin's Too Low Crew is entered in both competitions and we wish him the best of luck, particularly when he finally shows the world his patented, never-to-be-imitated Double Poppin' Hip move, which would be the equivalent of a Super Double Blue Steel/Magnum move if we were referring to the movie Zoolander. And I think you know what that means...

We heard a couple of rumors this past week about our parent company, Kasidie.com, as to why they are going to stop holding the weekly Sunday Resurrection pool parties and monthly Elite parties at what has become known as the "Kasidie Estate" (i.e. their house).

Since we didn't start the rumors like we usually do and resent the hell out of someone else making shit up before we had a chance to, we feel compelled to debunk the stuff we heard and create our own lies and innuendo to put in its place.

Let's see now, what can we come up with... How about... The owner of Kasidie has turned gay, purchased GayChubbyDating.com and is only going to throw parties for portly 'n' hairy gay males from now on (yes, there is a market for that sort of stuff but beware of house parties as we've heard the sheets get a lot dirtier than a typical lifestyle party).

Hmmm, that one may not stick, so to speak (especially when Mrs. Kasidie hears about it). How about, the Kasidie big cheese had a terrible tanning booth accident and will forever look like Larry The Lobster (or the loser to the right).

Nah. We seem to be having trouble coming up with rumors that might spread like the yearly California wildfires so we'll just level with you. The top Kasidie Couple has purchased a new & bigger so-called "Kasidie Mansion" and is in the process of both getting the new house fixed up and moving out of the old domicile. They didn't own the previous party house--they leased it 'cause it was a great place to play until they could locate a home of their own--and the lease runs out at the end of August.

So, this coming Sunday (August 1st) is the last Resurrection pool party at the now-old Kasidie estate and the Luau shindig on Saturday, August 7th, will be the final Elite party held there. We're not sure of the party schedule at the new mansion and pool environs but if you want to say goodbye to the old "love shack" properly, plan on attending one or both of the final gigs and you might want to, perhaps, double up on your BYOB order to really do things up right.
